Neapolitan style pizza.

We serve sourdough, Neapolitan-inspired, artisan style pizza. Pies are about 14” across. They cook in our kiawe wood burning pizza oven from Italy, which runs above 700 degrees, for a few short minutes. Pizzas emerge properly charred, crispy bottomed, with an airy and flavorful crust - a Neapolitan hallmark.

A labor of love.

Jeff Scheer is a Maui resident of 24 years. Originally from a small town in Ohio, he has been a chef on island for the last 20 years. Scheer started out at the culinary academy at UH Maui, and earned his title as Maui No Ka Oi Magazine’s ‘Aipono 2015 ‘Chef of The Year’ while he was owner of the catering company, Maui Executive Catering. In 2017 he married wife Kaili Scheer, together they have 2 children, River 6, Marlow 3. Jeff has a close connection with the farmers and ranchers he sources ingredients from, in addition to growing his own garden and orchard at home in Kula. Marlow is his first restaurant venture with wife and restaurant designer, Kaili Scheer.

In 2024 Chef Scheer was nominated as a James Beard Foundation Semi-Finalist for Best Chef in the Pacific / North West Category. An honor that he shared with our entire team at Marlow.

Farmers & Friends

We pride ourselves on the relationships built with upcountry farmers and ranchers. At the heart of Marlow is the food they grow and raise.

Kupa’a Farms in Kula grows an assortment of vegetables in what they call ‘The Marlow Garden.’ The list includes and is not limited to, fennel, cherry tomatoes, basil, romano beans, parsley, lilikoi, cabbage, lettuce, broccolini, herbs, elephant garlic, onions, chives, cucumbers, and more.

Lapa’au Farms in Olinda specializes in blue oyster mushrooms that are featured on our well-loved funghi pie. They also provide us with beautiful arugula, cucumber, fennel, basil, potatoes, flowers, daikon, heirloom tomatoes, corn, watermelon radish and more.

Lopes Farm is a generational family of ranchers who provide us with whole market hogs and fresh, local ground beef.

Simple Roots is a family run pasture raised chicken farm in Upcountry, Maui.
